Big Bluestem is a prairie grass that reaches 5’-8’ tall when mature. Excellent native alternative to Pampas or Miscanthus. Plant individually as a tall accent plant or mass as a border. Best in naturalized areas. Adaptable to almost any soil type, but needs full sun to thrive. Beautiful pink/gold fall color. Also called "Turkeyfoot" and "King of the Prairie".
