Blue Wild Indigo is a tough, long-lived legume that reaches 2-3 feet in height at maturity and will be covered in blue flowers May through June. Slow-growing in its first couple years, it prefers dry to medium soil moisture and full sun.
Dried seed pods can be used in floral arrangements. Showy blue flowers attract many beneficial insects.
