Kentucky Coffee Tree (Gymnocladus dioicus)

The Kentucky Coffee Tree is reaches 60 to 75 feet in height. Expect small, greenish, white blooms May through June. Prefers medium to wet soil moisture and full sun.

Tolerant and adaptable to a wide variety of sites. Female trees will produce seed pods. Given its common name from the use of its seeds as a coffee substitute for settlers to Kentucky.
