Pale Purple Coneflower (Echinacea pallida)

Pale Purple Coneflower is a forb that reaches 2 to 3 feet in height. Tall bare stems are topped with flower heads with lavender-pink petals and orange-brown centers June through July. Songbirds eat the seed if old flower heads are not removed. Prefers dry to medium soil moisture and full sun to light shade.
