Sideoats Grama (Bouteloua curtipendula)

Sideoats Grama is a bunchgrass that reaches 2 feet in height.

Tiny attractive flowers dangle from stem in late summer, resembling oats when they turn to seed. Prefers dry to medium soil moisture and full sun.  Use as a matrix species when converting your full-sun lawn to native meadow.
