Expect first-year showy yellow blooms August through November. Prefers medium to wet soil moisture and full sun. Establishes quickly, and comes back only via seed. Flowers attract Leafhoppers, Hover Flies, and Sweat Bees, and the seeds are eaten by songbirds and waterfowl.
